Dear all travelers to Khaolak area. We suggest you the best time to make your dream holiday is between November through to April. Because, from May to October, here we say, raining season or green season, but period of green season, 60 to 70% of raining, the sun ray in green season more stronger than summer, therefore, don't forget your umbrella and don't forget high sun protection cream as well. Business Hours: generally 09:00 to 17:00, weekdays, and 09:00 to 12 noon on Saturdays, except Publick Holiday when hours can be vary. Shops and local stores open from 10 or 11am to 10pm, daily. Banking hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 to 15:00. K. Bank in centre of Khoalak, opens from 10:00 to 19:00 every day 7 days per week. Currency exchange booths are mostly open from 10 am until 9 pm, 7 days a week. ATM are 24 hours widely available, and most accept cards using international banking networks such as Cirrus, EC,Visa, Master and Amex etc. Currency is the Thai Baht. Check out for online Currency Exchange up to date to find the value in your own currency. Electricity - 220 Volts. Several different plugs and sockets are in use, but two pin flat (US type) or round (European type) are pretty universal. You can buy adapters at local stores without any problem. |
